My own vegetarian food exploration experience to share with those who would like to try their hands on tasty vegetarian food preparation. I love converting different famous international delights to vegetarian alternatives. Some recipes came up after different experimentation of ingredients. So I encourage you to modify and adjust to your pallate too.
Vegetarian Classic Italian Lagsana
Ingredients for 6
1. Cooked Lagsana Sheets x 8
2. Vegetarian Bolognese Sauce (see my vegetarian bolognese receipe page and 1/2 the portion)
3. Bechamel Sauce (see my bechamel receipe page)
4. Oil or butter small amount
5. Parmesan cheese x 250g (or mix half with mozarella cheese)
Steps
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius
2. After oiling the tin or baking dish, place a layer of Bechamel sauce
3. Place one layer of lagsana sheet
4. Place one layer of vegetarian bolognese sauce
5. Place one layer of Bechamel Sauce
6. Repeat the layers from lagsana sheet, vegetarian bolognese sauce to Bechamel Sauce
7. Top with the cheese
8. Place in the oven for 60 min. If the top starts to brown too fast, turn down the heat a little but lengthen the time of baking
9. Remove and let the lagsana sit for a while before serving.
10. Taste best reheating after sitting for 45 min
