Miss Marples Tearoom

Miss Marples Tearoom in Mount Dandenong area of Melbourne
The scones taste fluffier than the usual scones I had. Freshly baked original scones are my pick over the fruit scones as the consistency is better, Go with their house made jam and the butter, Mmm
Goes best with hot tea.

Dinner made from Woolworths purchase

Healthier alternatives when travelling with ingredients bought from woolsworth. Most are bought at special and no home brands except the soup. Jamie Oliver brand soup that I had for dinner still taste better. No more home brands for me.
Stir Fried field mushrooms with zuchinni then boiled in garlic tomato sauce on Fusilli over rocket and baby spinach. Baked Garlic bread completes the meal.

Bangin Burgers at Noosa Heads

Even the buns are grilled!! Vegeburger Taste really good . chicken and beef burger available too. Combo at $11 comes with a choice of drink and fries. Alternative from the pricey restaurants.

Udon in Soy Broth

1 of my favourites is udon with soup. Managed to find shitake Tsu Yu, soy sauce with mushroom extract for soup, tempura or sushi dipping sauce depending on the parts of water added. This soup added soy bean drink(low sugar), the So Good in my fridge about 10ml left. After boiling frozen udon in the soup mixture, add some Japanese seeweed slices, baked sesame seed and Japanese chilli powder. A simple meal within 10 min. Yesterday dinner was with mushroom and Korean vegetable gyoza.

Roasted Vegetables

Roasted Vegetables has been one of my favourite baked dish.
This one was with pumpkin, potatoes, eggplant, zucchini, red capsicum. Seasoned with salt, pepper, paprika, herbs, multipurpose seasoning and a little oil. Roasted the pumpkin and potatoes in a preheat oven for 15 min before adding the rest for another 15 min at 250 degrees Celsius.
Yum..suddenly realize I forgot to roast the purple onion. Oh well, next time.

Crepes at Geelong, Victoria

Recommended by my friends who went to Geelong before at Panache Cafe & Creperie in 214 Ryrie St, Geelong CBD. In the picture is the savoury creamy mushroom crepe that I ordered. For sweet crepe, the blueberry Kosciusko tasted really good.
